Tiny carnation-like double flowers of bright magenta bloom over contrasting silver, woolly foliage. Blooms in summer.
Performing best in lightly moist, well-drained soil, Lychnis is tolerant of poor, dry soils. Silver foliage is more distinct in drier soils. Soils must drain well in winter. Sterile, no self-seeding.
Deer resistant. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. |
