Zone: 7 to 9; with adequate protection
reported to be winter hardy to Zone 5, and deciduous.
Part shade to full shade.
Mature size: 12 to 24 inches tall; spreads to 2 feet.
Evergreen fern features upright, glossy fronds of deep green, prominently veined with deeply divided subdivisions; and light yellow-green band near the costae, or on smaller fronds, near the rachis.
Easy to grow in average, medium to wet, well-drained soil.
Use in the woodland, shade garden or shaded area of the rock garden. |
